Shipping

What can I do if my delivery does not meet my request?
Of course we want to avoid wrong deliveries. That's why we carefully check every single package for completeness and correctness of the ordered items before it leaves our warehouse. Unfortunately, despite all the checks, it can happen in exceptional cases that the wrong beer ends up in your package, individual bottles are missing or a bottle breaks on the way. If your delivery is affected by this, please contact us so that we can find a solution together.

What can I do if a delivered beer is faulty?
It is very important to us that you are satisfied with our beers. However, since beer is an organic product, we cannot rule out the possibility of individual bottles having defects.

How will my package be shipped?
Your package will be shipped by Planzer Paket. To ensure a smooth delivery, your phone number and email will be sent to Planzer Parcels.

What is the delivery time?
The delivery time from the brewery is 7-10 business days. However, we do our best to make sure that the delivery reaches you as soon as possible.

How can I change my shipping address?
Log into your customer account, there you can change your address.

Payment

What payment options are available to me?
Depending on the selected shipping method, different payment options are available. Details can be found here.

What does payment by Stripe mean?
Stripe is our payment service provider. All credit card payments are processed through Stripe.

Can I pay by invoice?
No, we do not offer the invoice payment option. We offer invoice prepayment. After you have placed your order, you will receive an invoice, which you must pay in advance. As soon as we receive the payment, we will ship your order.

CLUB

Shipping

Is shipping included in the package price?
Yes, all club prices include shipping charges for quarterly or monthly member packages. Shipping charges apply to each additional club member order. You will receive a 10% discount on all CVL beers and products, shipping charges are excluded.

When will my club package be shipped?
We ship all club packages at the beginning of each month. The first package will be shipped immediately after the first payment is received, after that it will be added to the monthly cycle. You will still receive this information by mail.
For monthly club members this means that the first package will be sent immediately and the second package will be sent at the beginning of the month after next, so that the first interval is not too short depending on the time of order. For quarterly club members, the interval between the first and second package is 2.5 to 3.5 months, depending on the order timing, before the normal order cycle settles in.
All packages are shipped first once payment is received.

Payment

What payment options are available to me?
Credit cards are currently the only accepted payment method for Club membership.

How does the payment for a club membership work?
For the payment you will receive a payment link from our payment provider Stripe by mail, where you have to securely deposit the credit card information. The first charge will be made immediately, then the credit card will be charged automatically at the selected interval.

When will the amount be charged?
The first payment will be debited immediately, after that the payment will be placed at the end of each month, so that for the upcoming shipping interval at the beginning of the month the payment is received by us.

What happens if a payment is declined or expires?
When a payment is declined or expires, you will receive an email notification. The system will retry the same payment method up to four times in the following three weeks. If the payment is still unsuccessful, your membership will be automatically cancelled and you will lose access to club benefits and will no longer receive club packages.

How can I update my credit card details?
Credit card details can be changed directly on Stripe's customer portal.
Request an access code for the portal via the link with your email address. The code will be sent to you by Stripe. After entering the access code, you can update your credit card details on the customer portal.

Cancellation

When can I cancel my Club membership?
The minimum term for a club membership is 4 purchased packages. After that, the membership can be cancelled at any time.

How can I cancel my Club membership?
Please submit your cancellation in writing using the contact form. The cancellation period is 30 days before the next club package is sent. Upon cancellation, the club benefits expire with immediate effect.
