This straw-yellow beer with its white, fine-pored foam is tangy and heralds the start of late summer and the harvest season.

As a vintage beer, SAUVIGNON ALE is brewed by us once a year in a limited quantity. The idea of combining our two passions, beer and wine, in one drink can be found in this wheat beer.

Based on our White Ale recipe, we also add the juice of the Sauvignon Blanc grape at the end of the boiling process and ferment both with a selected white wine yeast.

A mild, sweet malt body caresses the subtle aromas of citrus fruits and the Sauvignon Blanc grape. The comparison with a mild sparkling wine is entirely intentional.

Sparkling and slightly effervescent, it dances on the tongue, while a light, fruity acidity tactfully joins in and the sweet malt body sets the stage. A hint of citrus and a pleasant, warming sensation lingers on the palate.

Info: The grapes are harvested and destemmed by us. We then juice them in a small juicer. From the vineyard to the bottle, we are there with our own hands.

This beer varies a little with the annual grape harvest. Depending on the harvest, either the acidity or the sweetness of the grape dominates. It therefore makes sense to try it anew every year.

The beer was awarded 91 points in the "Finest Beer Selection 2023".
